Vesak Day, also known as Buddha Purnima, is the most sacred day for Buddhists worldwide, commemorating the Three Great Events—the Birth, Supreme Enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana of Shakyamuni Buddha. There is no place more profound to observe this auspicious occasion than Lumbini, Nepal, the hallowed site of the Buddha’s birth.
The ICOMOS AGA2025 will take place in Lumbini, the Birthplace of Lord Buddha, World Heritage property, in Nepal. The formal events of the AGA2025 will take place between 11 October 2025 and 19 October 2025.
On December 12, 2025, the sacred grounds of Ramagrama will once again unite spiritual leaders, scholars, and peace advocates for the 3rd Ramagrama World Peace Day, organized by The Promised Land.
